Teenage Cutie Pie's Complete Teams on "The Voice"
Last
night young girls filled the stage helping to complete all four coaches’ teams
on “The Voice.”
According
to 15-year-old Nathalie Hernandez, she missed her prom to audition on “The
Voice” last night.
“I know
I'm young and I have my whole life to do this but I want to do this now,” said
Hernandez.
It’s a
good thing that she chose to audition over her prom. Even though the young artist considers herself
as more of a contemporary singer she chose to sing "White Horse," made famous as a country song.
The sweet brunette girl captured Christina, Blake, and Adam's attention. Christina already looked like a proud momma
watching the young girl’s performance.
“The emotion
that I got from your face. We had a little connection. You seem like a
storyteller,” said Christina as Hernandez chose her to be her coach.
Caitlin
Michele's unique sound and power-house performance was appreciated by Adam and
Blake. Calling it “the performance of her lifetime,” Michele decided to sing
“Cosmic Love.”
"I'm
sure Blake wants to punch me in the stomach right now," said Adam. "There
were some pitch things and that usually would hold me back for good.” He liked
her power and still wanted her on his team he told her. Interestingly enough,
she picked Adam to be her coach even though he wasn't as impressed with her as
Blake was.
Big-haired
and bright eyed Chevonne stepped out onto stage saying, "I know it's in me
I just need this to let it out.” With a resume that includes singing
backgrounds with Lady Gaga a lot was expected of the singer.
Choosing
the song "Brass In Pocket" Cee Lo identified with Chevonne and the
emotion she portrayed in her voice. “That was
a perfect vocal,” said Cee Lo. “I gotta say there was something painful in your
voice why was that?”
“Growing
up I had major eating disorders, but I've grown up and I've made a lot of
progress,” Chevonne said to Cee Lo. "Yours was obvious to me, I've written
on many occasions from a very painful place and there is a way to overcome
it," said Cee Lo. Chevonne choose Cee Lo as her coach.
Kayla
Nevarez sung "American Boy" with a very adult sound even though she’s
still a child. Being
only 17-years-old once again, this cutie pie caught everyone’s eye last night.
Even though she listened to Christina growing up she choose Adam to be her
coach. "I have one spot left on my team. Without a doubt in my mind I know
you're the one," Adam said to her.
